Empowering Accessibility: BLE Beacon-Based IoT Localization

The Internet of Things (IoT) localization empowers smart infrastructures buildings to deliver advanced services users leveraging mobile devices. In this context, in order enhance the mobility people with disabilities on university campus, a Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) beacon-based indoor system was developed. Particular emphasis placed selection beacon for designed application, which performed basis energy demand characteristics at assumed power settings and time intervals emitted signal. paper also focuses various concepts transmitter deployment inside campus demonstrate possible configurations IoT will work correctly. Based experimental determination signal strength reaching users’ devices, best arrangement proposed. However, dependence calculated distance between interrogated device as function received is non-deterministic many factors; thus, only an approximate position can be designated measurements. Nevertheless, BLE system, supported by additional algorithms integrated into user’s software, useful applications question.
